Bowl of Colors

"Sometimes, you don't have time or space to set up an altar, especially if you have nosy non-pagans living in your home," says Astrid.

"My Christian mother-in-law gave me a lovely crystal bowl last year.  I feel I honor both her and my own beliefs by using it as a bowl of colors.  I place votive candles of varying colors, each one standing for something in particular I want or need (such as green for a better income).  I light the candles and let them burn, the wax melting and the candles and needs blending together.  The candles melt into one large candle with many wicks, usually in a perfect circle with one wick in the center.  But I warn you, the bowl of colors will burn for a long time!"
